A Sprint is the main repeating cycle in Scrum. It contains the work, planning, inspection, adaptation, and improvement needed to create value.

Sprints create focus, rhythm, and regular opportunities to inspect progress and adapt.

Common misunderstanding

A Sprint is not just a development phase. It contains all Scrum events and exists to create value.
